Lake Erie Concord Belt Fruit Farm

Boyce Fruit Farm is a producing fruit farm located in the Concord grape-growing belt which runs about 50 miles along the south shore of Lake Erie - through Girard, Erie and North East Pennsylvania. It is the largest and oldest Concord grape-growing region in the world. The Seller belongs to a co-op that provides grapes to a national juicer. For a couple months out of the year, the farm is operated as a ”U-Pick” operation with people coming from all over to visit and pick fruit. The farm also produces and sells raw cider that draws those who want it for homemade vinegar and homemade cider.

Boyce Fruit Farm is situated on a total of 123+/- ac. It is a producing fruit farm with 15.59 +/- ac of apple orchard, and a total of 94+/- acres of vineyards with 73.5+/- ac of Concord grapes, 13.44+/- ac of Niagara grapes and 6.92+/- ac of Catawba grapes. Tree variety includes Red Delicious, McIntosh, Empire, Cortland, Yellow Delicious, Spartan, Mutsu, Melrose, Blushing Golden, Red Stayman, Fortune, Northern Spy, Ida Reds, Early Apples, Gala, Greening, Jonathan, Honey Crisp, Paula Reds, Jona Gold and Priscilla. The area is located just 10 minutes from Lake Erie, 15 minutes from the OH border, 35 minutes to the New York state line. Girard is Within 90 miles of Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo.
