    Duties:

    • Creates a technical vision for the company and leads the implementation of new technical projects or product lines.

    • Contributes to general business planning regarding technology and systems required to maintain company operations and competitiveness.

    • Recognizes new developments in information systems technology, and anticipates organizational modifications.

    • Establishes long-term needs for information systems, and plans strategy for developing systems and acquiring hardware to meet application needs.

    • Ensures confidentiality and reliability of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property. Functions as top level contact to assist end users in determining IS requirements and solutions.

    • Manages the requirements collection process for large-scale projects

    • Determines IT project priorities across the business with input from the COO and other executives

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

    • Excellent resource and team management with a track record (10-15 years) of achieving results in technology management

    • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures

    • Previous experience as “C” level Information Technology executive

    • Previous experience as a software developer

    Specific Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of application development, web development and network engineering

    • Strong influencing/negotiation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of business and technology trends and strong interpersonal/relationship management skills

    • Previous experience implementing and supporting Enterprise Resource Planning system

    • Experience at leading team in the design and development of externally facing websites using Microsoft .NET and C#

    • Experience in Agile software development highly desirable

    • Experience in project management required and PMI certification highly desirable

    • Background in interactive technology thru global internet and/or television

    Responsibilities:

Qualified candidate will possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.     Primary responsibility is hosting live auction coverage; will also be involved in creating taped interstitial/promotional material for Auction Network and Williams & Williams.

    High energy and credible presence.

    Ability to work a flexible schedule, typically the last two weeks of each month during auction sales cycle.

    Some long days (10-12 hours) required time-to-time but we are flexible with how we structure the talent rotation to avoid as best we can.

    A bonus would be someone who has some marketing, promotion, writing, production background - additional skills might enable us to structure a full-time job out of this, combining roles.

    Williams & Williams, the leader in real estate auction, is looking for a candidate to work in the Dallas, Texas office of one of its valued clients. Candidate must be able to perform a broad range of highly complex duties related to disposing of real estate owned (REO) properties. Duties may include valuing, repairing, maintaining, listing, marketing, negotiating offers, selling, and closing of properties. Recommend action to resolve discrepancies. Compile data and prepare a variety of complex reports. Operate with lead responsibility.

    Key Job Functions:

    • Offer management. Input auction offers into Seller database for review and approval.

    • Negotiate offers in accordance with corporate objectives. Obtain approvals.

    • Ensure timely closings and final property disposition.

    • Coordinate AMP and Broker relationships with Auction Company (Williams & Williams).

    • Serve as primary liaison between Williams & Williams and Client (Fannie Mae).

    • Coordinate and respond to inquiries and requests from internal staff, mortgage insurance companies, lenders, title companies, attorneys, and others.

    • Update databases to ensure that information is accurate, complete, and accessible. Maintain records and files. Perform periodic analyses and review of data. Investigate questionable items.

    • Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and the firm's policies.

    • Receive and upload broker's price opinions (BPO) and appraisals as needed.

    • Maintain all property management during listing period including general maintenance and emergency repairs to insure that assets remain safe and secure.

    • Coordinate repairs as needed. Review repair bids. Issue repair authorizations.

    • Compile and maintain auction event sales and closing data.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent required

    Minimum Experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience in REO Asset Management or real estate related field

    Specialized Knowledge & Skills Employment:

     

    • Experience in traditional REO asset management and property disposition (sales) required

    • Knowledge of property valuation, mortgage financing, negotiations, and foreclosures required

    • Experience with CLM/TRAX, AMN, REO-Trans, Business Objects, MS Access and/or relational databases and reporting tools strongly preferred
