Roy Rogers Ranch and Collectibles Auction

67+/-ac horse training facility northeast of Los Angeles.

Located in the high desert region about 85 miles northeast of Los Angeles and just north of Apple Valley, the area is framed by picturesque mountains and surrounded by hobby farmers and other agricultural operations. The ranch entrance is marked by a unique log fence with wood reclaimed from the Roy Rogers Museum. The ranch has a perimeter fence and some cross fencing. There are two residences, a bunkhouse, barn/theater, 15-stall stable, half-mile horse track and numerous other horse facilities.

Rogers purchased the ranch to breed and race horses. The higher altitude meant ideal training conditions for horses and the ranch is capable of sustaining more than 150 horses.

One of the most important improvements to the ranch is the irrigation and livestock watering systems that services the 10 pastures, paddocks and various livestock facilities. The current owners buried utility lines as part of the improvements made 10 years ago and drilled a new well.
